Common questions
How do I try the app without a flight package?
Open the “…” menu on the note card and choose the sample flight. It uses fictional data only.
How do I import a flight?
Tap Import, or share a flight package file to CapWidget from Files. The card fills automatically; re-importing the same flight keeps what you typed.
Why are some boxes blank?
Max T/O weight, SOB and takeoff settings (flap, THS, flex) come from your weight and performance data, so you enter them yourself.
Is CapWidget approved flight software?
No. It is for reference and note-taking only. Always verify every value against your official release, weight and balance, and performance data.
